Community Guidelines

PolyTickles is where the Polytoria community shares builds, games, glitches and memes. Lots of people here are young, so we take safety seriously.

The vibe

• Share what you made and credit the people you made it with.
• Hype people up and disagree without being a jerk.
• Keep it teen-friendly. If you wouldn’t show it in a public game lobby, don’t post it.
• Block people who bug you. They can’t comment on your videos or follow you.

What’s not allowed

These apply to everything you post, including your username, bio and profile picture. They match the options you see when you report something.

Putting kids in danger

Don’t ask people for their age, location, school or photos, or pull young users into private chats on other apps. You must be 13 or older. If you think someone is under 13, report their profile.

Self-harm or suicide

No content that promotes or shows how to self-harm, attempt suicide or starve yourself. Talking about mental health and recovery in a supportive way is fine. If you’re struggling, see Need help right now?

Violence or threats

In-game fights and obvious fiction are fine. Real gore, threats, praising real violence or terrorism, and dangerous stunts are not.

Sexual or nude content

No nudity or sexual content, including in avatars, builds or captions.

Zero tolerance for anything that sexualises minors. That includes grooming, asking for pics, or “jokes”. We remove it, ban the account for good and report it to the authorities, like NCMEC in the US.

Bullying or harassment

No insulting, threatening or ganging up on people, and no sharing someone’s private info. Criticising a game is fine. Targeting a person is not.

Hate or slurs

No attacking people for who they are, like their race, religion, disability, gender or sexuality. No slurs or hate symbols, even as a “joke” or in a build.

Pretending to be someone

Don’t pretend to be other creators, staff, moderators or brands. Fan and parody accounts are OK if the bio says so.

Spam, scams or free-Bricks bait

No bulk posting, fake giveaways, “free Bricks” scams, phishing links, selling accounts or fake likes and views. Don’t make extra accounts to follow or like your main one (or a friend’s): we remove those follows and likes and may ban the extra accounts. Never ask for anyone’s password.

Politics

PolyTickles is for games and building, not politics. No politicians, parties, elections, political slogans or taking sides on wars and conflicts. That goes for usernames, profiles, captions and comments too.

Using someone’s work without permission

Only post things you made or have permission to use. Don’t reupload other creators’ videos. Game clips are usually fine. Full songs or shows usually aren’t. See our Copyright Policy.

Something else

Nothing illegal, like drugs, real-money gambling, hacking, malware or cheats that hurt other players. If something feels wrong but doesn’t fit, pick “Something else” and tell us why.

Protect your privacy

• Don’t share your full name, address, school, phone number or exact location.
• Check your videos for things like a school uniform, a letter or the view from your window.
• Never share your password. Our moderators will never ask for it.
• Everything you post is public.

How to report

1. Tap Report on a video, comment or profile.
2. Pick the reason that fits best.
3. Add details that help, like what’s happening or a timestamp.

Reports are private. Please don’t spam fake reports, or we may start ignoring yours.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.

What happens if you break the rules

Our moderators and automated filters (AutoMod) look for rule-breaking. Depending on how serious it is, we may:

• Warn you. A warning is a formal notice. Your content stays up, and you can appeal it.
• Remove the content. For a small first slip-up, that may be all.
• Suspend your account for a set time. This happens automatically if 3 of your posts are removed or you get 3 warnings within 7 days: first for 24 hours, then for 7 days. After that, a person decides what happens next.
• Ban you permanently for serious or repeated rule-breaking. A person makes this call, except for the automatic ban after 3 copyright strikes in a year. New accounts made to dodge a ban get banned too.

Sexual content involving minors, real threats or terrorist content mean an instant permanent ban. Whenever we act, you get a notice in the app saying what we did, why, and how to appeal.

How to appeal

Everyone makes mistakes, including us. You can appeal within 6 months:

1. Open the notice in the app (Settings → Notices) and tap Appeal. If your account is suspended, you can appeal from the screen you see when you try to log in.
2. Tell us why you think the decision was wrong.
3. A person reviews it, ideally someone new. We’ll tell you the result, and if we got it wrong, we’ll put things back.
